Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how SecuMap ("we", "us") uses your personal data when you join the SecuMap preview waitlist. For the purposes of UK data protection law, SecuMap acts as the data controller.

What data we collect

When you submit the waitlist form we collect your email address and any other information you choose to include in your message.

How we use your data

We use your email address to:

• manage the SecuMap preview waitlist;
• send you invitations to the preview programme; and
• send product updates and security content that is directly related to SecuMap.

Legal basis

Our legal basis under the UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and requesting access. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

Service providers

We use Brevo as our email and contact management provider. Brevo processes your data on our behalf to send emails and manage the waitlist. Brevo’s servers may be located outside the UK, but we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

How long we keep your data

We retain your email address while the preview programme is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can keep you informed about launch plans. If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we will remove you from the waitlist and marketing lists sooner.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, erase and restrict how we use your personal data, as well as the right to object to certain uses and to data portability in some cases. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@secumap.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use analytics, advertising or other tracking cookies. If we introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.
